We are well on our way! Thank you for your partnership.
Together during Foursquare Connection 2016, the Foursquare family raised over $77,000 to help establish a ministry training center in Almaty, Kazakhstan where 90% of residents have never heard the gospel. This ministry training center will prepare local leaders from Kazakhstan and surrounding nations to take the gospel into places where U.S. workers cannot go.
“This kairos moment provides us with an opportunity that only a movement can accomplish together,” according to FMI Director Jim Scott. “This is what The Foursquare Church was birthed to do.”
Several pastors and congregations have indicated that they will add to the Connection Offering total in the coming weeks and we are grateful for the outpouring of love and support for our Kazakh brothers and sisters as well as the vision God has given them.
Kazakh pastor Yerkinbek Serikbayev and Foursquare Kazakhstan National Leader Tomas Tomassov presented Foursquare President Glenn Burris and FMI Associate Director Ted Vail with traditional Kazakh shapan, ornamental coats that are symbols of honor and dignity. The men embraced and the audience responded with overwhelming support of our shared partnership of reaching the unreached and fulfilling the Great Commission, together.
We’re almost to the finish line with funds needed. Thank you to those who have already helped. There is still time for others to become part of this God-size vision in Central Asia.
