Namibia – DLT Instructor
Looking for Experienced Pastors to serve short-term to mid-term periods to facilitate DLT classes and seminars to fulfill the Global Council requirements for the School of Ministry that Namibia Foursquare has created.
Discipleship Leadership Training (DLT) Instructor in Namibia

Primary Purpose:
This strategic role helps indigenous Pastors and leaders increase their skills in leading teaching preaching, discipling the people they serve. This involves working hand in hand with Pastor Festus Negumbo and any of his appointed leaders and facilitators of DLT in Namibia (which could be other workers/emissaries). This person will need to coordinate a teaching plan with their existing program of instruction. Individual would need to coordinate through the National Leader Pastor Festus and the Principal facilitator Delinda Higgins. Plan on several zoom chats ahead of time to talk through the program of instruction and the timing and location of instruction. It is highly likely that this individual will need to facilitate the same class/seminar/module in both Windhoek and Ongwediva.
Qualifications + Requirements:
- Master’s Degree or higher
- Must have solid spiritual formation, missiology, and ecclesiology.
- Must have been walking with Jesus for at least 7 years.
- Must have cross-cultural intelligence experience/training.
- Must also be prepared to teach Sunday school classes or preach sermons.
Preferred Skills + Experience
- 7-10 years of pastoral experience
- Comfortable and competent using the Socratic method/ practice to facilitate discovery and transformation in a variety of subjects as laid out by the Global Council Requirements for using DLT in a school of mission/ministry.

This involves working hand in hand with Pastor Festus Negumbo and any of his appointed leaders/coaches that they (Pastor Festus and Mr. Epaphras) are raising up Individuals would need to coordinate through the National Leader Pastor Festus and the Principal Mr. Epaphras. Plan on several zoom chats ahead of time to talk through the program of instruction/training and game schedule and the timing and location of instruction. It is highly likely that some equipment may need to be part of what you bring (Balls, cones, pug goals, whistles, colored penny practice jerseys, ect). You will need to dialogue with Pastor Festus and Epaphras to discuss needs and customs requirements for donations (to avoid costly duties)
Qualifications + Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of coaching experience with student-athletes in a secondary school or competitive environment.
- Must be willing to be flexible to the Nation’s interpretation of rules and game formats.
- Must have solid spiritual formation, missiology, and ecclesiology.

Some of the activities you will be involved in at Mountain of Dreams are: to assist Josiah in business planning, administration and daily activities in different business ventures, assisting accountant in her work twice a week, market research, you will receive discipleship in business as mission and in emotional health spirituality, and you might have the opportunity to visit the indigenous reservation and learn from the Caesar people and the missionaries working among them.

Puerto Rico – Intern with Dream Center Esperanza

Intern with Dream Center Esperanza in Puerto Rico

Primary Purpose:
This internship will provide hands-on experience and skill development in various areas of community service and social impact through compassion evangelism. Interns work closely with Daniel and Yolanda Rivera, Foursquare missionaries and pastors, to learn about and contribute to a wide range of initiatives and programs aimed at addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges while expanding the kingdom and spreading the Good News!
During the term, interns will learn how Dream Center Esperanza works by shadowing and assisting staff with a variety of ministries and programs. They will also be expected to participate in community service and similar group activities that will help interns to better understand Dream Center Esperanza’s purpose and role in the community. Dream Center Esperanza’s mission is to help families move from hopelessness to HOPE.
Interns will live in an apartment with other interns of the same sex. A weekly schedule will be determined by the executive director and/or ministry director. Interns will be scheduled to work 35-40 hours a week and will receive at least one full day off per week. Ministries and serving opportunities may include Kidz Jam, DC Youth Night, Elderly Ministry, Homeless Ministry, Food Truck, Prayer Walks, Discipleship, and church services. Interns will participate in a weekly chapel service/bible study/devotional time with the group. In this time frame, there may be worship, prayer, coffee meet ups, hearing from leaders at Dream Center Esperanza, as well as Bible study.

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have a devoted relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must be able to live within a shared space.

Timeline: Visa dependent – a tourist Visa in Germany is only good for 90 days, anything longer than 90 days would require a student or work visa.
Primary Purpose:
To support the ongoing ministry of Foursquare in Cologne, helping to serve the people, build relationships, and advance God’s Kingdom. Support our FMI workers in areas they aren’t as skilled in, and further develop the work that is already happening. This opportunity will provide volunteers with a taste of the mission field and the chance to serve and see if a longer-term mission assignment would be a good fit for them.

- Youth mentor (for KK and Hudson and their friends, as well as other MKs in Europe)
- Missions Internship (Learn a little bit of everything)

Preferred Skill + Experience:
- German language ability is recommended but not necessary

Primary Purpose:
The House Mother provides safe, caring, and loving parenting interactions for 5-6 ladies in care. Qualifications + Requirements:
- Female over the age of 25 (a couple would be welcomed as well)
- Cross-cultural experience
- Educational background or has received training in trauma-informed care
- Experience working with teens/young adults on a personable level
- Capable of providing leadership and spiritual guidance to each of the residents according to her specific needs
- Physically able to fulfill all responsibilities of the position
- Knowledge of basic cooking, house maintenance, and caretaking skills
- Have a personal relationship with God that is evident in their character and moral values
- Have great people skills, be self-motivated, have a high level of energy, and be joyful in all circumstances
- Being flexible with change and able to work in a high-stress and demanding environment is necessary
- Facilitate conflict resolution with words and be able to de-escalate situations
- Multi-task, organize and prioritize work assignments
- Be open to growth and developing oneself

Approximate cost per month: $1,289
Cost Breakdown:
- Room and Board: $300/month (this includes your living space, utilities, and meals at the home)
- Visa Fee: $100/month after initial 30 days in the country. After 6 months, you can apply for a Worker’s Permit which is $100/ year, and you no longer pay the monthly amount.
- Cell phone: $15/month (+ $12.5 one-time setup fee)
- Health Insurance: $224/ month (est. amount if you currently don’t have)
- Spending money: $200 for any additional food you may want or eating out. Meals average around $5-10 US.
- Additional Personal items or activities: $200.

- Transportation: $50. Taxis average $3-5 US but most places are within walking distance from our facility.

Costa Rica – BAM Project Analyst
We would like to enroll the help of a project analyst to help us develop an ecotourism retreat center project at Mountain of Dreams. This is a project that will bring social and economic benefits to the community and the people being ministered to through the retreat center.
Business as Mission (BAM) Project Analyst in Costa Rica
Region: Central America
Location: Tatutic de Turrialba, Costa Rica
Timeline: 11-13 months
Primary Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to help us develop an ecotourism/retreat center venture. This is a project that will bring social and economic benefits to the community and to the people who will be ministered to through the retreat center.
Qualifications + Requirements:
- Knowledgeable in all levels of project management
- Computer skills
- Strong critical, analytical and innovative in their approach to problem solving
- Research skills
- Team working skills
- Available to work at least three times a week, from 8 am to 4 pm
- Knowledge, understanding and appreciation of Latin culture
- Able to stay on task and avoid distractions
- Willing to live in a rural, isolated setting without some of the comforts of an American lifestyle.
- Mature Christian with a heart for people, small rural communities and BAM as a way to reach and bring transformation.

Support Staff for MENACA Regional Coordinators
The support staff role is exciting and dynamic; you will create it with the coordinators as you go. The need for well-trained workers is getting higher and higher in our region. The perfect place to learn and grow is in a relatively safe nation with a high population of Muslims, which our city provides. As you are trained in 1-2 years, we expect you will deploy to another nation and people group to plant and begin a new work.
Support Staff for MENACA Regional Coordinators
Region: MENACA (Middle East, North Africa + Central Asia)
Location: SE Europe for residency, traveling into MENACA
Timeline: 1-2 years with the goal of deploying to another country in the region upon completion
Primary Purpose:
Come train with the MENACA regional coordinators in a southeastern European country. Duties will include, but may not be limited to:
- Travel with and shadow the coordinators into many of our 27 nations in a supporting and learning role. Support roles include administration, communications, events, seminars, training, and working with nationals and other FMI workers.
- Engaging the local community: practice engaging Muslims and communicating your faith in practical ways in our city, which provides a safe environment to learn how to do this. We expect you to initiate and form relationships with the large young adult English-speaking Muslim population.
- Discipleship of a small group of English-speaking teens (children of workers and other Christians in our community with no youth group available).
Preferences to Consider:
This role is perfect for singles or young married couples. Families will be considered, but the flexibility will demand a lot of travel.
Qualifications + Requirements:
- Must be extremely flexible
- Willing to travel frequently
- Self-initiating and highly collaborative. This is not a role that will be micromanaged; much of it will be for you to create on your own. You will work closely with the coordinators, but be expected to manage your time wisely without a strict schedule.
- This role is for people with a proven track record in ministry work.
- Cross-cultural skills are an absolute must.
- No language required, but previous cross-cultural work and skills must be evident.
- Work with young adults and teens is highly recommended.
- Must be passionate about ministry to Muslims since our region is 95% Muslim.

This is a role that will bless workers, national leaders, national movements, and our Regional Coordinator who struggles with staying on top of inboxes and receipts. You will be coordinating schedules, calls, communications, and reporting for the SEA Regional Coordinator.

- Loves organization and emptying email in-boxes
- Good with tracking receipts and other paper trails
- Trustworthy with confidential communications
- Faithful
- Cross-cultural experience helpful
- Humility to learn about cross-cultural communication
- A love for missions and the world – especially Southeast Asia

Cost
Enough to cover expenses for your time and work in the location you can serve, travel to join some of the Southeast Asia events would be a welcome addition. This can be discussed at greater length upon interview.
